I'm researching a signal that lit up 3 times since January 1997. The (daily SP500 percent change) times (NYSE volume minus its 100 day average). On 8/8/2011, it was sharply down, then sharply up 8/9/2011. On 3/9/2020, sharply down, then sharply up 3/24/2020. On 4/4/2025, sharply down, then sharply up 4/9/2025.
